In December of 2012, Dan Clancy, a craft beer aficionado, received a beer making kit for a Christmas present from his two sons. What originally started as a casual hobby from time to time, turned into a full time job. Soon after his business took off, he enlisted the help of his two sons Patrick and Kevin to make his dream come true. The family began to make quality craft beers as a living. After countless hours of experimentation, the original Clancy's Pale Ale was created. The beer received rave reviews in the city of Madison. 

 

Soon after the success of CPA, the brewery enlisted help from around the state of Wisconsin. Using only the choicest ingredients from local farmers, the brewery began to make more and more varieties of their signature beer. After a long hard year of experimenting, the brewery added two more beers to make the Clancy trio. Each Clancy style of beer is modeled and crafted from the recipes of each individual Clancy family member.
